It was with great sadness that the world today heard of the death of Michael Jackson.

John Allison/Monkhouse offered people the opportunity to come together to share their feelings and to honour the memory of this legend of the entertainment industry on Thursday July 2nd at our Wantirna Chapel.

About 300 people attended this service where both tears and happy memories went hand in hand.  There was a 30 minute video presentation featuring the life in music of this incredible man who touched the lives of so many through so many generations.  Many of the crowd sported white gloves as a tribute to Michael Jackson and hands were waved and toes were tapped as his hit music filled the chapel.

During the service, candles were lit in Michael's memory and many gazed at these as they remembered how Michael Jackson's music became a soundtrack to their own lives.
